The Rimini Expo Centre (Rimini Fiera) is one of Italy's largest exhibition and convention venues, operated by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and located in Rimini on the Adriatic coast of Emilia-Romagna. Completed in 2001 and expanded in 2018, it offers around 137,000 sqm of exhibition area across 16 halls, and hosts major fairs including SIGEP (foodservice), Ecomondo (green economy), RiminiWellness and TTG Travel Experience.
The venue
Rimini is notable for its single-level layout across sixteen pavilions, which simplifies logistics and visitor flow, and for its integrated railway station giving direct rail access to the halls. It adds 24 modular conference rooms, restaurants, a business centre and around 11,000 parking spaces, and has a strong sustainable-design positioning. Two temporary structures added from late 2024 have extended capacity at the East Entrance.
Exhibiting and stand-building context
Rimini's flagship fairs bring working-equipment briefs, live foodservice stations at SIGEP and environmental machinery at Ecomondo, so stands often carry significant power, water and services requirements. The single-level layout eases heavy load-in, but IEG's technical rules govern services and build-up. Exhibitors confirm hall placement and services planning well in advance.
Getting there
The venue's own railway station provides direct rail access, and Rimini is served by road, its coastal location and a nearby airport. The integrated station and single-level design make Rimini one of the more logistically straightforward major Italian venues for both exhibitors and visitors.
