About Tüyap Istanbul

Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center is the largest exhibition venue in Turkey and the only privately owned fairground of its scale, located in the Beylikdüzü district on the European side of Istanbul. Opened in 1996 and expanded in 2010, it offers around 120,000 sqm of indoor exhibition space across 14 halls, plus roughly 25,000 sqm of outdoor space, and hosts on the order of 14,000 exhibitors and close to 2 million visitors a year across its programme.

The venue

The complex combines 14 exhibition halls with an extensive congress and service area seating up to around 10,000 people, 31 multi-purpose meeting rooms and a grand ballroom. A five-star on-site hotel, TÜYAP Palas, with 259 rooms has direct access to the fairground, and covered and open parking together handle several thousand vehicles. This makes Tüyap a self-contained venue where exhibiting, conferences and accommodation sit on one site.

Exhibiting and stand-building context

As a large, privately operated venue, Tüyap sets its own technical, access and contractor rules, and its scale means build-up and dismantle run to a managed dock and hall schedule. Schenker acts as an official forwarder for the site. Istanbul's position as a bridge between European and Asian markets makes Tüyap a strategic venue for exhibitors targeting Turkey, the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia, and stand builders working here need familiarity with the venue's logistics and Turkish exhibition regulations.

Getting there

Tüyap sits west of central Istanbul in Beylikdüzü, served by road and shuttle connections from the city and its airports. Its distance from the historic centre means exhibitors typically plan accommodation and transfers around the fairground and the on-site hotel, particularly during the largest fairs when visitor volumes are high.
