Ecomondo and what it asks of a stand
Ecomondo, the trade fair for the green and circular economy, opens 3 November 2026 at the Rimini Expo Centre. The organiser reported over 1,700 exhibitors at the 2025 edition. It is a technology and machinery show rather than a consumer one, so exhibitors bring plant, recycling equipment and processing systems, and stands have to accommodate working hardware with the power, floor loading and safe circulation space that implies.
The organiser publishes only percentage growth for attendance rather than an absolute visitor figure, so we do not state one. If visitor volume matters to your decision, ask Italian Exhibition Group directly rather than relying on third-party numbers, which vary widely for this show.
The Rimini Expo Centre
The ground is operated by Italian Exhibition Group SpA, with roughly 109,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space across 16 halls in our listing. Like Poznan and Nuremberg, it is a many-hall site, so hall allocation drives access and build-up planning more than the headline floor area does.
The local build trade
We list one stand builder headquartered in Rimini: Prostand Productions and Events, a custom builder, not yet carrying our Verified badge. As with Nuremberg, a single local listing against a major ground reflects our coverage rather than the market: exhibitors here draw on contractors from across Emilia-Romagna and the wider Italian trade, several of whom we list in Bologna and Verona.
